Originally from Boston, Tess discovered a love for performing as a small child dancing around her living room to En Vogue. Since then, she's expanded her interests to musical theater, Shakespeare, devised works, and modern dance.
Tess is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut where she completed triple majors in Dance, English, and Theater. She was awarded High Honors in Dance for her full year undergraduate research thesis (you can watch the choreography here and read the written component here).
In addition to her training at Wesleyan, she has studied at DeSales University's Summer Theater Institute, CAP21, Powerhouse Theater at Vassar College, and BADA and Yale School of Drama's Midsummer in Oxford Program. She's spent the past two-ish years working professionally at regional theaters throughout New England. She also produces, acts in, and occassionaly directs quasi-monthly Monday Night Shakespeare readings, livestreamed from her fun-sized East Village apartment.
Outside of performing, she's super active. She earned her 200-hour yoga teaching certification at Lyons Den Power Yoga and she plays on a soccer team. She loves to read, cook, and play internet solitaire, and considers herself an amateur connoisseur of nut butters, condiments, and non-dairy milk options (separately). Perhaps most importantly, she is a HUGE fan of RuPaul's Drag Race.
Instagram is her social media of choice...
